Pre-lubricated gasket
The louvered ‘baffle’ type screen holds the media in place creating a swirl effect, that forces the oil to contact more of the media when passing through the filter.
Unlike when the simple perforated screens are used and the oil takes the path of least resistance through the filter, resulting in less media contact and poor filtration.
